Publications

	The Courier aims to keep residents up to date with news on council services and inform them of where to get help and further information. It also includes news from the community and from some of our partner organisations, such as Dorset Police and Dorset County Council. There are four editions produced each year and it is delivered to each household in the borough. It is also available to pick up in the Christchurch Information Centre, libraries and other public buildings.
	Your Dorset is the community newspaper for everyone living in the Dorset County Council area. It is produced four times each year to keep you informed about the work of the council and how it contributes to the quality of your everyday life. The Winter 2010 issue of the county newspaper has been delivered. You can download a PDF version, or you can listen to the Your Dorset articles as a series of MP3 files either online, or downloaded for your MP3 player.
	East Dorset News focuses on the services provided by the council and gives an insight into many of the events that happen throughout the district. The magazine highlights events and activities happening in the community that affect the everyday lives of people who live and work in East Dorset. It is produced at least three times a year and delivered to every household and business in the district. It is also available to be picked up at local newsagents, tourist information centres, libraries, etc. across the district. It is also available on cassette or CD on request.
	About Purbeck is delivered to every home in Purbeck three times a year. Here you can find issues for the last three years. The aim of the magazine is to keep residents fully informed of what’s happening in the district. The magazine provides updates on the latest developments in the council and on local issues. 	Community Link is published three times a year to help keep local people informed of the services provided by the district council. Many residents look to the local media for news about their local authorities. However, people increasingly expect to receive information directly from the council – that is where the Internet and publications such as Community Link come in. The aim is to distribute Community Link to all households, and businesses where possible, within the West Dorset District Council area.
	Insight is the magazine for Weymouth and Portland residents. It is published quarterly with the latest news from around the borough and listings of local events.
